Originally published in 1979, Gestalt Therapy and Beyond: An Integrated Mind-Body Approach, is a pioneering work, one of the first to explore the specific integration of Gestalt therapy with Neo-Reichian Body Work, Guided Imagery, and Moreno’s Psychodrama. Written and edited by Eric Marcus, M.D., a founder of the Gestalt Therapy Institute of Los Angeles, the volume includes contributions by Marcus, Allen Darbonne, Edwin Greenberg, Violet Oaklander, James Cole and others. In addition to clinical discussions, the book offers a wealth of transcriptions of actual Gestalt therapy sessions and includes an introduction by Virginia Satir and a preface by John Grindler.
